5 Songs That Make Me REALLY Happy

We all have those songs that make us happy. Here are five of mine.

First and foremost, my top five are: In The Stars by Benson Boone, The Very First Night (Taylor's Version) by Taylor swift, Like My Father by Jax, On the Edge by Noah Ransom, and right where you left me by Taylor Swift.

“I'm still holding on to everything that's dead and gone / I don't want to say goodbye 'cause this one means forever."

Above quote from In The Stars.

Why I like this Content

You mean aside from developing meta one-liners that have the capability of ripping out my heart AND making my voice felt heard?? The awesome tunes for one thing. The piano in the song In The Stars allows me to visualize playing in front of an audience. This song is so relatable it's just impossible to not like.

What about The Very First Night (Taylor's Version)? Well, the tune is super upbeat, allowing me to dance in the car, in my room, or just about anywhere I so please. While, AT THE SAME TIME, saying absolute gold like "I drive down different roads, but they all lead back to you." Honestly, how is one supposed to not sing their heart out whilst driving to this song?

Next up on the block: Like My Father. There's a lot of things I'd like to say about this song. 1) it is another piano song, so obviously I daydream about playing it on stage. Second, it depicts a perfect af (pardon my informality and my language) healthy relationship. "I wanna slow dance in the living room like / we're 18 at senior prom" has my heart! Every girl wants the relationship dictated in this song.

Moving on to On the Edge. Now this song's imagery is about putting on masks and everyone thinking you have it all "put together" or something like that. Unrealistic, honestly, I don't think anyone has it "put together" and if you do email me and tell me what it feels like. Anyway, in all seriousness, I think at least half the population can relate to this song and putting on different masks.

Last but certainly not least, perhaps my most favorite: right where you left me by Taylor Swift. This song is perfection. Descriptions of feeling frozen in a moment while everyone else moved on is amazingly perfect. "Everybody moved on, I / I stayed there" emulates the feeling of witnessing the world carrying on, and yet, you're stuck in a moment set to repeat for eternity. Exactly like a time loop.

And that my friends, are my top 5 songs.
